Freedome VPN provides safe and industry-standard security features and protocols. It encrypts users’ data using OpenVPN (TCP/UDP) and IKEv2/IPSec. The VPN service is available on Windows, macOS, and Android VPN apps, working exclusively on the OpenVPN protocol. The iOS operates on IKEv2, which is second to OpenVPN but still secure.

Furthermore, all the data is backed by the military-grade AES-256 encryption cipher. An essential kill-switch feature also prevents your IP from being exposed in case of sudden disconnection. The VPN service also operates its DNS servers and malware and tracking protection, further protecting users’ personal information.

Lastly, there is an Ad-blocker that lets you surf anonymously without any pop-up or video ads. The VPN also protects from IP, WebRTC, or DNS leaks.

Freedome VPN isn’t comparable to top-notch VPNs when it comes to speeds. It offers decent speeds but is far from being the fastest. Freedome VPN averages 15% to 20% speed loss on nearby servers. That is more than enough for HD streaming and easy browsing. However, the VPN isn’t ideal for gaming as it provides unacceptable latency rates, a turn-off for gamers.

Having a small network of servers, the VPN doesn’t prove to be a reliable VPN service for streaming. It may be able to unblock a few sites, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, All 4, and BBC iPlayer, but it isn’t efficient to stream any of them.

The VPN will block your attempt if you try any torrenting activity. On the flip side, the VPN doesn’t allow P2P activities on most of its servers. Thus,   Freedome is not the VPN you would look for streaming or torrenting.
